Clem 7 Tunnels, Brisbane Qld

2006 – 2007

The Clem 7 Tunnel Project was twin two-lane parallel tunnels stretching 4.8kms in length in Brisbane that linked the Sth East Freeway at Woolloongabba and Ipswich rd to the Inner City Bypass and the Bowen Hills area.

It included 18 bridges, fire systems, thermal detection controls, CCTV and monitoring systems, two ventilation stations and a 3 storey high tunnel control centre.

MRR Consulting played a key role in Design management, design coordination and integration, and project management.
