WestConnex Stage 1b Road Tunnels, Sydney NSW: 2016-2017
MRR-Consulting provided both project management and technical advisory services for stage 1b of the 33-kilometre long WestConnex Road Tunnels in Sydney which will link the southern suburbs, northern beaches to the Airport
Waikato Expressway Hamilton Section, NewZealand 2015-2016
The Waikato Expressway is a major transport project that connects the Waikato region to the Auckland and Bay of Plenty regions in the North Island of New Zealand.
It is an important strategic link designed to improve the safety and productivity with the increased movement of freight, workers and people as well as to stimulate economic growth within the business, agricultural centres and surrounding tier-two cities and towns.
MRR Consulting was engaged between the years of 2015-2016 on a Project and Construction Management basis as the Design and Construct interface as well as providing extensive strategic alliance advisory and bid and challenge management services.
Forrestfield-Airport Tunnels, Perth WA, 2015
Utilising its expertise in Stations and Tunnel methodologies, MRR-Consulting was engaged as an Independent Peer reviewer for the proposed new $1.8b twin bored tunnels and rail lin in the Eastern suburbs of Perth.
Second Range Crossing – Toowoomba QLD 2014-2015
MRR-Consulting provided D&C Interface coordination, design integration, management of bid and peer review during tender phase of the $1.6 billion Toowoomba Second Range Crossing.
The project is a new major transport route from Athol to Helidon that would improve freight times and streamline heavy vehicle transport by connecting motorways to key ports and industry. This will shift heavy vehicles away from the Toowoomba city as well as increasing driver safety.
East-West Tunnels, Melbourne, VIC, 2013-2014
MRR-Consulting provided R+O Management, Bid Management, TBM advisory and Technical review services for the 18km long east-west link tunnels which would link the Eastern Freeway to the Citylink Freeway.

Airport Link and Northern Busway, Brisbane, Qld – 2008
The Airport link project was twin 5.1km tunnels located in the north of Brisbane and totalled $4.8 billion dollars. It was actually three key infrastructure projects in one including the upgrade to the main Brisbane airport roundabout and the Northern busway.
It was designed to release increasing traffic pressure as well as connect strategic roadway link points. MRR-Consulting was contracting in 2008 to assist with Project Design and Delivery Management

Miami International Airport – Northern Runway, Miami, USA – 2001
The Miami Int Airport air traffic had been steadily increasing for decades and it was agreed to construct a new 8,600-foot runway which included two new taxiways to increase the capacity of the airport by approximately 25%.
It was a USD $115 million-dollar cost and was completed in 2003 after 66 phases or stages. MRR-Consulting was a senior project and area manager on the ground collaborating on the various stages

Denver International Airport – New Runway and Taxiways, Denver, USA – 2000-2001
Denver Int Airport (DEN) was considered a critical player within the overall U.S. Transport and cargo system but for years had been lacking a suitable expansion plan to overcome its shortcomings and ability to implement its masterplan and increase its capacity so it could positively impact the state economy and local businesses.
A plan for a sixth runway was finally given the go-ahead and Runway 16R/34L was constructed as a 200-foot-wide, 16,000-foot long modern runway 33 per cent bigger than the existing runways. MRR Consulting was involved as an Engineering Project Manager from 2000 to 2001
